We don’t just write funny, we look funny! I mean, make funny videos. We *video* funny! Whatever.

Harm Your Baby – Nicotine Dream [2001]

Posted by on Jan 15, 2015 | 0 comments

In 2001, a couple of hormonal, spotty teenagers figured they’d try their hand at creating a new genre of metal. Crossing influences as varied as System of a Down, The Prodigy, cheap deoderant and Rolf Harris, the band Harm Your Baby was born (still birth). It was a ridiculous “pro-smoking” band designed to offend both sensibilities and ears, and only one total abortion of an album was produced. I thought this album was lost, but someone sent in a copy and it truly is as daft as I remember. I listened to it for the first time in years:   Most of the tracks featured...

Iron Man Mode Fundraiser Finale

Posted by on May 19, 2014 | 0 comments

On the 23rd of May, myself and a team of people who clearly didn’t have much on that weekend set out on a virtual flight around the world. In a nutshell, this was the master plan:   How did we get on? Well, it did end up taking three days in the end and it was one hell of a gruelling flight, but we manage to do it. More importantly, not only did we meet the charity target, but we got some of our bigger friends together, dragged the charity target around the back of the bleachers and beat the living crap out of it. Although the target was $2,000, we raised at least $2,830...

Soda Drinker PRO!

Posted by on Nov 26, 2013 | 0 comments

Every now and then, a game comes along which takes the world by storm and even revolutionises the way we think about video games. For me and plenty of others, the most recent example of this was Bioshock Infinite. It was a practically flawless example of why games should be considered as art – high art, at that – and I’ve been wondering how long we’d be waiting until something at this level of brilliance would hit the market. Not long, apparently. Since the full version of Soda Drinker Pro (the premier in software in the first person soda drinking genre) is now on...

Scariest Video Games EVER… Now With Real Blood!

Posted by on Nov 5, 2013 | 0 comments

If you’re reading this, I can only assume you’ve made it safely through Halloween without being butchered by an axe murderer or getting so frightened by a spooky retail display at Walmart that you heart-attacked. Heart attacked to death. So, good job! That’s you done for another year. Just remember that it’s not acceptable to accept confectionary from strangers until next October, and you’re on easy street. I, however, didn’t make it through Halloween totally without injury. In fact, I can’t think of any other way to describe ‘stabbing...

Minecraft. Minecon. World of Minecon. Er… World of Minecraft

Posted by on Sep 6, 2013 | 0 comments

Last week Mojang put on a fantastic free exhibition last week called the World of Minecraft (possibly) at the Victoria Albert Museum in London. They really put on a show and fans responded in kind, with over 5,000 people turning up to the shindig. We had to leave in a hurry though since it was getting dark and none of us had the forethought to craft any swords. Here’s a video with some footage of the event, my thoughts, and the moment I met Mojang’s Lydia Winters which was totally awesome! And really awkward! But mostly awesome!   Cheers to all the Mojang guys for...

So it probably hasn’t escaped the notice of regular readers that we’ve been a bit quiet over the last month. The reason behind this is complicated, but basically Nate and I have become superstars on YouTube and it’s difficult to keep a site updated regularly when you’re busy snorting coke off Jennifer Aniston’s buttcrack and drinking champagne out of her bellybutton. Note to anyone else who might drink champagne out of a bellybutton after Nate has had a go: he backwashes. Euughh. Anyway, the money has just about run out. So much so, Aniston has switched to Cava...

Huzzah for Octodad – a Celebration in Silliness

Posted by on Jun 20, 2013 | 0 comments

A Celebratory Look at Everyone’s Favourite Secret Octopus So it only took me approximately twenty seconds to fill up an entire 1Tb harddrive with gameplay videos. This afternoon I decided to free up some space, mainly to accommodate the ‘special’ videos I’m reluctant to delete but the less said about those the better. As I explain in the following video, I came across an utter abortion of a video feature I was planning to do on my favourite indie games of the time. One of those games was the marvellous Octodad, a game which makes up for its lack of production value...

Internet Famous

I don’t often have the time to do interviews since I’m always busy being really famous and talented. Over the weekend however a lucky journalist got to pick my brains for a while. In case you missed it, here’s a rare insight into the intimidating mind of a creative genius: Magical Diary, Sim City and Garry’s Mod coming up later this week. Don’t work too...
